5 best places to take your dog in North Wales
Oh, how we love our dogs…. Here are some great places to visit with your beloved dog whilst in North Wales:
Coed y Gopa, Abergele
Located on a prominent hillside in the Vale of Clwyd, North Wales, Coed y Gopa is the ideal place to walk dogs as you admire the wildlife and breath-taking coastal views.
Llanddulas – Colwyn Bay Coastal Path
The coastal path that stretches from Llanddulas to Colwyn Bay promenade is very popular with dog walkers, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Great Orme whilst your four legged friend enjoys a paddle.
Bodnant Gardens
Open to dog walkers from the beginning of May until the end of August, but only on Wednesday evenings from 5pm. This has to be on your list of places to visit with your beloved pooch.
Llyn Elsi, Betws-y-Coed
This is a pleasant walk to Llyn Elsi, a lake in the forest above Betws –y- Coed. The walk from the village to the lake is approximately four miles, in which dogs may need to be kept on their lead until you have reached the lake.
Newborough Forest
The Isle of Anglesey is home to the beautiful Newborough forest. The woodland is perfect for a nice stroll with your pooch or an exhilarating run on the beach. With a great selection of routes and paths, and stunning views, you will love this one.
