Sales Manager at Valley View Park, Mid Wales

We have so many different characters across our 9 Holiday Parks across Wales, Cheshire & Yorkshire, all of which have a wealth of knowledge and experience, not only about the Parks they work within, but also about the local areas which surround them.

Our most recently acquired park, Valley View Park in Mid Wales, is in such a fantastic area of natural beauty in the middle of Wales. It offers picture perfect walks, amazing star gazing, and is the perfect gateway to visit other areas of the Mid Wales Coastline, whilst still enjoying everything the countryside has to offer.

This month we thought we’d introduce Sarah Ellis, our Sales Manager at Valley View Park and get an insight into what makes her tick..

How long have you worked for Thornley Leisure Parks? 4 Years

What do you enjoy most about your role? I absolutely love meeting new customers showing them around our beautiful park, helping them find their dream holiday home. I also love speaking with our current customers about how they are enjoying their time here.

Where is you’re favourite spot on park and why? The lake has to be one of my favourite spots, you can take a minute to sit and enjoy the sounds of nature, with peace and tranquility taking over your thoughts.

Which is your perfect lodge or caravan and why? All of them… the great thing about Valley View is that all of our lodges and caravans have something different to offer whether it be spectacular views, location or style of a holiday home.

If I could recommend one must see/do activity for the local area it would be: The local area has something to offer for everyone, my personal favourite would be Powis Castle, the castle itself, stunning gardens, shop, café and nature trails you can visit time and time again to see and do something different.

My advice to people looking to own holiday home would be: Location is key when looking for your holiday home, being an hour away from the coast and just over an hour to the city, Valley View is a brilliant location for your get away.

My best tips for the surrounding area are? There are lots of walks from the park itself, café’s, restaurants and shops are a short drive away.

Any parting words? Working for a family run business is so rewarding in many ways, not only do you feel like one big family but you benefit from a friendly hands on approach. I am looking forward to spending many more years helping customers on the journey to find their dream holiday home.
