With so many places to visit in Yorkshire, Gallaber Park is the perfect place to own your own holiday home.
From the medieval town of Ripon, you can visit the incredible Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Water Garden for a beautiful, peaceful day walking the grounds of the 12th-century world heritage site. After a day of history, pop over to Masham, the home of the Black Sheep and Theakston breweries for a true taste of Yorkshire and the compelling story behind the beers.
You’ll know that many of the activities in Yorkshire are in the very heart of nature, and few are more stunning than Ingleton. Here, you have a choice of the power of Ingleton Falls or the underground and entrancing, White Scar Caves. First discovered in 1923, the limestone caves stretch six kilometres, it’s a fantastic family day out. Above ground, Ingleton Falls provide spectacular views and hiking trails through woodland surrounding the falls.
For a bit of Hollywood, Wensleydale and nearby Aysgarth are the places to go in Yorkshire. If you’re just crackers about cheese, follow the example of Wallace and Gromit and try some Wensleydale and even by the official cheese of the animated duo in what is a grand day out. For beauty, and a famous film scene, Aysgarth Falls is a breath-taking location to visit. With its glorious waterfalls, you may recognise it from a certain scene in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.

With Settle, Skipton and other spots close to the Park, there are plenty of places to eat in Yorkshire with local, wholesome food on offer.
For places to eat that are a short distance away, the Brasserie at Courtyard is a favourite location during the day for lunches and breakfasts. In the evening, Ruchee Restaurant is an excellent choice for families and groups with its Indian cuisine while the Italian Restaurant is another welcoming eatery in Settle.
To wet your whistle, the Boar’s Head and Craven Arms are cosy, traditional pubs that are close to Gallaber Park. In Settle, the Talbot Arms and Golden Lion are welcoming pubs with Bar 13 a casual bar. In Skipton, you’ll have a range of traditional tea rooms such as Helene’s and the Cake’ole.
Hazy Dayz Cafe in Hellifield is well worth a visit.
