If you’re a regular at Craiglwyd Hall Caravan Park you’ll know that it’s perfectly situated on the North Wales coast between Llandudno and Conwy on one side and Anglesey on the other. With traffic heading over to Anglesey in the Summer months increasing somewhat, it’s a good idea to have a base directly outside the island. Leave the time consuming traffic jams behind and base yourself at Craiglwyd Hall above Penmaenmawr beach. It’s an excellent location for those wanting to explore both Anglesey and the area surrounding Conwy.

An 18 hole coastal course with amazing views of the Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia. Holyhead Golf Club is open all year round from 8am with a heathland course and plethora of holes to get to grips with. Golf lessons, club hire, pro shop and practice area come as standard.

2. Bull Bay Golf Club
With a spectacular setting, Bull Bay offers an 18 hole championship course. There are panoramic views from every tee and you can look over the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man and Lake District on a clear day. Car park, buggy hire and putting green available, it’s open all year round from dawn until dusk.

3. Baron Hill Golf Club
One of the oldest, privately run golfing clubs in the UK established back in the 1880s; Baron Hill boasts views of the Snowdonia mountain range and is situated above the historic town of Beaumaris. The course was remodelled by CD Laurie, the Walker Cup Captain designer. Open all year round with buggies available, 8am – 9pm March to September.
