Games perfect for families
Charades
A game of acting and word guessing, charades is the perfect activity for playing pantomime. Try guessing what the other person is acting out, and it becomes laughs from start to finish. Before starting the game, make sure you have enough phrases and words written down on paper and secretly stashed inside a hat. Each person can take turns to pick a phrase and without telling anyone else try to act it out! The great thing about this is you can pick your own topics – Christmas films, Tv shows or famous quotes.
Pictionary
Pictionary is known as a board game, but if you haven’t got one you can play without. Similar to charades, you pick topics, but instead of acting them out you draw them. There are some real laughs to be had with this! Time to decide which family members can and cant draw so well.
Scavenger hunt
Scavenger hunts are always great fun, especially for the young children! Either a put a list of items together that everyone around the home has to find, or tell them a list of items you have hidden to try to find. Either way it gets competitive and burns some energy!

Who Can’t Draw
A game to be played by up to 8 people, you have 15 seconds to draw a word that is randomly given to you, before having to pass the screen onto the next player. They will then continue on with the drawing for another 15 seconds until the drawing gets to the last player. The aim is to guess what the drawing is from the word!
