Wrapping up warm to watch the skies light up with fireworks is a staple in many people’s autumn calendar. And after more than a year of covid uncertainty and a host of cancelled events, some are starting back up again. Here’s a selection of the most dazzling spectaculars in North Wales…

Rhyl: Friday, November 5

Where: The Showfield/Brookes field, Rhuddlan Road, Rhyl, LL18 2RG
Time: The event begins at 7.30pm with a Bonfire lighting and moves onto the firework display
Details: Organised display by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
Price: FREE

Colwyn Bay: Friday, November 5

Where: Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7SP
Time: Bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm with fireworks commencing at 7.30pm
Details: Free parking is available at Eirias Park and on the Promenade. Disabled Parking will be available at Eirias Arena.
Price: FREE but there will be a cash collection on the night, with 50% being given to the Fire Service and local charities.

Llandudno: Sunday, November 7

Where: Llandudno Pier, North Parade, Llandudno, LL30 2LP
Time: 6.20pm
Details: One of the best displays in North Wales! Not to be missed. In the event of bad weather, this will go ahead on Monday, November 8th. Leave plenty of time to get parked in Llandudno for this one… it’s a very popular local event.

Gwynedd: Sunday, November 7

Where: Glasfryn, Y Ffôr, Pwllheli LL53 6PG
Time: 6.00pm
